Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using Perla, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What Perla is
Perla is a period and cycle tracking app that helps you log your menstrual cycle, track symptoms, view predictions, and understand your cycle patterns. It provides AI-powered insights and fertility scoring, all processed on your device.
What Perla is not
Perla is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or contraceptive method. It is not FDA-cleared or CE-marked. Predictions, fertility scores, AI insights, and symptom forecasts are estimates based on the data you enter and should not be used as the sole basis for medical decisions, contraception, or family planning. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical advice.
Subscriptions
Perla offers Monthly ($2.99/month), Annual ($19.99/year), and Lifetime ($49.99, one-time) subscription options. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Monthly and Annual subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your device.
Free trial
New subscribers may be eligible for a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the displayed price.
Price changes
We may change subscription prices from time to time. If we increase the price, Apple will notify you in advance. Existing subscribers on legacy pricing will not be affected unless they cancel and resubscribe.
Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support.
Your data
You own all data you enter into Perla. We do not claim any ownership or rights over your health data. All data is stored locally on your device. You can export it at any time in JSON or PDF format, and delete it at any time from within the app.
No medical warranty
The app is provided for informational and tracking purposes only. Perla makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy of predictions, fertility scores, AI insights, or symptom forecasts. Individual cycles vary, and many factors can affect your cycle that the app cannot detect.
AI limitations
AI-powered insights are generated by on-device language models. They may occasionally contain errors, oversimplifications, or inaccuracies. AI insights should not replace professional medical judgment.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Perla and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including decisions made based on predictions, fertility scores, or AI insights.
Termination
You may stop using Perla at any time by uninstalling the app. Since all data is stored on your device, uninstallation removes your data (unless included in an iCloud backup).
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland and the European Union. If you are a resident of the EU, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority under the GDPR.
